Vaishno Devi

Vaishno Devi shrine is located in the lap of Trikuta hills which is 13 Kms from base camp Katra, which is one of the prominent town of District Reasi and 63 kms from Jammu city.The Shrine is famous pilgrimage centre in Jammu and Kashmir state. It is managed by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board since 1986. Million of Pilgrims from within and outside the country visit this holy place every year. 

Shiv Khori

Holy cave of Lord Shiva is situated at Shiv Khori (Ransoo) . A large fair takes place on shivratri day which continues for three days.In July an estimated 16,000 devotees visit this place. This Holy Cave attracts near about 20 lac pilgrims every .

Bhimgarh Fort

This is an historical fort built by Gen. Zorawar Singh, the famous Dogra General who repelled the Chinese from Ladakh. The fort is built on the bank of River Anji at a hillock. It is also an attraction for the tourist visiting Reasi.

Salal power project

Salal Power Projectis also a source of attraction for visitors situated 23 Km away from Distt. H.Q. Reasi surrounded by mountains. Salal Hydroelectric Project constructed on river Chenab in the district Reasi. The project has capacity of 690 MW. The beneficiary states are U.P, J&K, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, H.P. Chandigarh & Rajasthan. The visitors show enthuse to have a sight of the Project.

It enjoys the status of one of the biggest waterfall in North India. Located on the Chenab River in Reasi District standing at an elevation of 466 meters, it descends from over 100 feet making a spectacular view. 

Baba Aghar Jitto a spiritual devotee of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi. A farmer sacrified his life for getting due right share of agriculture crop from Jagirdar Bir Singh who denied to give the committed share. This is why he scarified his life for getting his right & became famous among the farmers, have a attraction for yatries also. The statue of Baba Jitto is situate near road side in the lap of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi.

Baba Dhansar

Baba Dhansar is a sacred pilgrimage site in Reasi, Jammu & Kashmir, near Katra. It features an ancient Shiva temple, a mystical waterfall, and a natural spring. According to legend, Baba Dhansar, son of Vasuki, defeated a demon here. A popular Mahashivratri Mela is held annually.

Chenab Bridge

The Chenab Bridge, located in the Reasi district of Jammu & Kashmir, is the world’s highest railway arch bridge, standing at 359 meters (1,178 feet) above the Chenab River, making it taller than the Eiffel Tower. Spanning 1,315 meters in length, this engineering marvel is a key part of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project. Designed to withstand earthquakes and strong winds up to 266 km/h, the bridge is built using 28,660 metric tonnes of steel

Anji Khad Bridge

Anji Khad Bridge is India’s tallest railway pier bridge, located in Reasi district, Jammu & Kashmir. Standing 89 meters high, it is part of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL).

Dera Baba banda is another place of the tourist attraction. Baba Banda Singh was a famous saint soldier of Guru Govind Singh. A Gurdwara on the bank of Chinab is reminding memories of his time. He spent his last days here. This place is considered as a major pilgrimage center for Hindus & Sikhs situated in Bhabbar area of District Reasi. People from outside state also come to this place for pilgrimage particularly on the festival of Baisakhi in the month of April every year.
